With offices in Boston and New York, our team brings over 80 years of combined experience in the energy industry, advising some of the most energy-intensive businesses in North America. We specialize in navigating the complexities of deregulated markets, volatile pricing, and ambitious sustainability mandates—delivering the expertise and insights typically offered by large consulting firms, but without the inflated costs.

Our team of professionals have over 80 years of combined experience in the energy industry. We serve a niche market typically dominated by large consulting firms that charge 10x for their services.

As Founder and Managing Director of Gotham Energy, Sean is responsible for shaping the firm’s strategic direction and ensuring its core values are reflected in every client engagement.

A recognized expert in energy procurement and carbon market strategy, Sean brings over two decades of industry experience and deep market insight to help clients reduce costs, manage risk, and achieve sustainability goals.

Before founding Gotham, Sean held senior roles in corporate account management at leading organizations including Constellation, AES, Trigen, Thomson Research, and Honeywell.

Sean holds a degree from Boston College and is known for his practical, data-driven approach to solving complex energy challenges.

As the CRO at Gotham Energy, Bob oversees all aspects of Gotham’s business development activities here in the US.

He has over 40 years of experience in the electricity and natural gas markets.

He is recognized and respected across the industry for his acumen, and ability to foster lasting relationships across all vertical markets.

Prior to landing at Gotham, Bob held senior management roles at NRG, Direct Energy, Hess and Castle.

Bob holds a degree from Stockton University. He is Yankee fan and reminds Sean, frequently, that there are 26 reasons.

Laurie oversees all aspects of the Gotham Client services teams, in the management of daily client related needs.

This includes utility data collection, GHG reporting, and energy benchmarking.

Additionally, she manages our energy bill auditing services that have been instrumental in identifying cost savings through billing credits and refunds. She has been with Gotham since its inception, having held previous roles with Vornado Realty Trust. Her unique “behind the walls” access to utilities has proven to be invaluable to our clients.

Adam manages all the Energy dashboards across the entire Gotham Client database. These online dashboards serve as the pillars of our information relays, for GHG reporting,

auditing departments and client asset managers who see our platform as an invaluable tool for ongoing reporting and energy modeling needs. Energy related KPI’s are critical to understanding asset performance and the impact of energy conservation strategies. Adam’s team helps distill actionable information on an ongoing basis.
